Kangaroo carry

(4 months/good head control - 12 months)

This is my favourite carry for my 8 month old. His weight just seems to totally disappear with his legs bundled up in the fabric. Romero loves the view as well.

1. Rotate the sling so that the seam is in front of your tummy. Open up the sling by spreading out the fabric at the seam, where your baby will sit. 2. Face baby forward and cross their legs. With baby facing forward, cross their legs and lower them into the sling. 3. Open up the sling by pulling the outer rail out. Lower baby's bottom into the sling while holding their legs in. For an older baby with long legs, they might like to have their legs just tucked in front of them. Once you've pulled up the top rail, slide them to the side.

4. Check that baby's bum is well supported by the bottom of the sling and their legs are tucked inside the fabric. Pull the top rail up to baby's shoulders or under their arms.
