Cradle carry

(newborn - 8 months)
1. Rotate the sling so that the curved seam lines up with the nipple opposite the shoulder where your sling is resting. 2. Pick baby up with the hand that is on the same side of your body where the sling is resting. 3. Open the sling up with your free hand and lower baby bottom first in to the seam of the sling, then gently slide their head in.

4. Pull the outer rail up so that baby is encased securely by the fabric. Use the side of the sling (just below your shoulder) to support baby's neck and head if they want their head out. Safety Note. For tiny babies (premies and newborns), place a small folded up blanket in the sling for baby to rest on. This will elevate baby's body so that he is not placed too deep inside the pouch.
