| 1. With the Mei Tai body at the front, tie the waist (the shorter ones) straps onto your waist using a double knot. They should be nice and snug as they will be taking most of the weight.
2. Pick baby up facing you and lower baby to just above the carrier so they are swaddling your waist.
3. Pick up the top of the Mei Tai with one hand and pull it up over baby's back while holding baby in with the other hand.
4. Throw the shoulder straps over your shoulders. |
| 5. Cross the straps: support baby with one hand, grab the strap from the opposite shoulder and pull it tight. Bring it around to the front. Now support baby with this hand while holding the strap. Grab the other strap with your free hand and bring it around to the front pulling it tight. You can bring the straps back under or over baby's legs before you tie them.
